SANA'A, June 13 (Saba) - The Saudi-led aggression committed on Friday a new massacre in Bait Meya'ad in the Capital Sana'a, killing dozens of people, a security source said .
The Saudi airplane targeted many houses in Bait Meya'ad late on Friday killing and wounding around 69 people, including women and children.
Several houses were completely destroyed and many others damaged, the source added.
Rescue teams rushed to the scene to search for survivors under the rubble of the houses. The injured also were rushed to hospital.
The Saudi warplane struck in the early hours of Friday the Old City of Sana'a, killing at least six people. The pre-dawn air strike destroyed five houses completely and damaged many others in the old city.
The strike was the first direct hit on old Sana'a since the launch of the Saudi-led coalition bombing campaign against Yemen in late March.
Sana'a' old city was inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List in 1986. It has been inhabited for more than 2,500 years and was a major center for the propagation of Islam, boasting more than 100 mosques, 14 public baths and more than 6,000 houses built before the 11th century.
