CAPITALS, May 31 (Saba) – More than 50 international human rights personalities and organizations have sent a letter to the UK Secretary general expressing voicing concerns over the Saudi aggression on Yemen.
The letter focused on the badly deteriorating humanitarian situations in Yemen due to the Saudi aggressive attacks on the Yemeni people, demanding an end to this aggression and delivery of the humanitarian assistance.
It considered that the presence of Saudi Arabia in the UNSC a “clear contradiction” under the repeated violations of human rights with regards to Saudi violations of the international laws in Yemen.
The signatories regarded the aggression as a collective punishment and a war crime as there is must distinction between the military targets, and infrastructure and civilians.
