SANA'A, May 31 (Saba) - The UN Special Envoy on Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed stressed on Sunday the United Nation's determination to hold Geneva conference as soon as possible.

"The solution of the Yemeni crisis is to return to the dialogue table with the participation of all the components and political forces," Ahmed said during a meeting with senior officials of the General People Congress (GPC).

The GPC official leaders confirmed the importance of end the Saudi aggression on Yemen and start the dialogue. They welcomed the UN efforts aiming at resuming a Yemeni-Yemeni dialogue through holding Geneva conference.

The GPC is ready to participate in the conference and to deal positively with all UN Security Council resolutions, they said.

They underlined the importance of lifting the unjust siege imposed on Yemen, which caused a humanitarian crisis with a lack of basic commodities, oil derivatives and medical supplies.
