Beirut – Saba:
Hezbollah on Monday condemned what it described as the heinous and brutal crime committed by the Zionist enemy against journalists in the Gaza Strip, which resulted in the killing of six journalists—five from Al Jazeera and one from the Sahat platform—after a deliberate and direct airstrike targeted their tent near Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), Hezbollah described the attack as a full-fledged war crime that exposes the brutality, criminality, and complete moral and humanitarian bankruptcy of the Zionist entity.
The statement said that this systematic assassination of journalists, following Israel’s decision to fully occupy the Gaza Strip, aims to silence the media and prevent it from exposing the crimes, massacres, genocide, and starvation being carried out by the Zionist entity in preparation for the forced displacement of the Palestinian people in Gaza.
Hezbollah called on all media, human rights, and humanitarian organizations, as well as international bodies, to condemn this ongoing Zionist aggression against journalists and media institutions, and to take the necessary measures to prosecute it before the relevant international courts.
The party extended its deepest condolences to the families of the martyrs, to Al Jazeera’s management and staff, and to all free journalists in Palestine and across the Arab and Islamic worlds who continue to believe in the vital role of media in defending the oppressed against the world’s tyrants, persisting in the face of risks and challenges to document the crimes of this savage entity.
