Gaza – Saba:
Palestinian Red Crescent Society paramedic Diaa Mohammed al-Bayouk was injured on Monday evening while responding to a rescue call following the targeting of a house near the university college, southwest of al-Zeitoun neighborhood in Gaza City, which had been subjected to heavy shelling by Israeli enemy forces.
The Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) quoted the Red Crescent Society as saying: "paramedic al-Bayouk was injured in his right shoulder by shrapnel from an artillery shell. He was immediately transferred to al-Quds Hospital, where his condition was described as stable."
With American and European support, the Israeli enemy army has continued to commit crimes of genocide and impose a total siege on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023.
This has resulted in the deaths of 61,499 Palestinian civilians, the majority of whom are women and children, and the injury of 153,575 others. Thousands of victims remain trapped under the rubble and on the streets, unable to be reached by ambulance and rescue crews.
