Paris – Saba:
Italy and Spain on Monday rejected "Israel's" plan to reoccupy the Gaza Strip.
According to al-Quds Press, Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto launched a scathing attack on "Israel", asserting that it has "lost its sense of reason and humanity" regarding the Gaza Strip. He expressed his country's openness to imposing sanctions on Tel Aviv.
In press statements, Crosetto told the Italian newspaper La Stampa: "What is happening is unacceptable. We are not facing a military operation that causes unintended damage, but rather a complete denial of the law and the founding values of our civilization."
He added: "We must find a way to force Netanyahu to think clearly, beyond mere verbal condemnation."
In the same context, Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares affirmed that his country and the European Union will never recognize "Israel's" annexation of any part of the Gaza Strip or the West Bank, emphasizing the need to take action against its policies.
With American and European support, the Israeli enemy army has continued to commit genocidal crimes in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, killing 61,499 Palestinian civilians, the majority of whom are children and women, and injuring 153,213 others. This is a preliminary toll, with thousands of victims still buried under the rubble and on the streets, unable to be reached by ambulances and rescue teams.
