The Vice Chairman of the Supreme National Anti-Corruption Authority, Ridhaan Al-Mutawakel, received on Monday the second financial disclosure statement from the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Abdulwahab Naji Abu Ras.
During the handover, Al-Mutawakel commended Abu Ras’s commitment to submitting his disclosure in compliance with the Financial Disclosure Law No. (30) of 2006.
He emphasized the importance of coordination and partnership with the government, particularly the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, in recovering smuggled funds abroad and strengthening anti-corruption prevention measures within the framework of international cooperation, in line with the government’s action plan and the National Anti-Corruption Strategy (2022-2026).
For his part, the Deputy Foreign Minister stated that submitting his disclosure reflects his adherence to the law and his commitment to promoting and protecting the integrity of public officials.
He highlighted the ministry’s dedication to enhancing coordination and collaboration with the Anti-Corruption Authority in areas related to combating and preventing corruption, in accordance with the government’s action plan for change and development.
