Occupied Quds - Saba:
The United Nations confirmed that at least 2,895 Palestinians have been displaced from 69 communities across the West Bank since the beginning of 2023, due to a coercive environment resulting from escalating settler violence and restrictions on access.
The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) stated: “Between January 2023 and mid-July 2025, no fewer than 2,895 Palestinians from 69 communities across the West Bank—especially from herding and Bedouin areas—have been displaced due to the coercive environment created by rising settler violence and access restrictions.”
OCHA added, “In total, 45% of the displaced families were from Ramallah Governorate (1,309 out of 2,895), followed by the governorates of Hebron, Bethlehem, Nablus, Tubas, Salfit, Quds, and Jericho.”
It noted that of the 636 individuals displaced so far in 2025, one-third were from the Jordan Valley (215 out of 636 displaced persons).
OCHA pointed to the growing frequency of settler attacks and settlement activity in the West Bank.
It stated, “Between July 8 and 14, at least 30 settler attacks on Palestinians were documented, resulting in casualties, property damage, or both.”
“These attacks led to the deaths of two Palestinians—one killed by settlers, and the other in an incident where it is unclear whether settlers or Israeli enemy forces were responsible,” it added.
Furthermore, 92 Palestinians were injured in these attacks, including 14 by Israeli forces and 78 by settlers.
OCHA also reported the destruction of more than 450 trees, including olive, almond, and apricot trees.
It added: “In June 2025, settlers injured 100 Palestinians—the highest monthly figure since we began recording such injuries in 2005.”
