Ibb - Saba:
A speech and cultural event was held at Al-Barr Mosque in Ibb province under the slogan "Insight and Jihad" to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Zaid (peace be upon him).
The event was attended by Deputy Governors Rakan Al-Naqeeb and Harith Al-Maliki, Security Director Brigadier General Hadi Al-Kahlani, Head of the Grievances Authority Yahya Al-Qasimi, and Guidance Sector official Ahmed Al-Muhajir. Speeches highlighted Imam Zaid’s stances, virtues, and his reformist revolution against the injustice and tyranny of the Umayyad dynasty, which had led the nation astray from its righteous path.
The speeches emphasized that Imam Zaid’s revolution was an extension of the revolution of his grandfather, Imam Hussein bin Ali (peace be upon them), embodying divine guidance and reform for the nation while combating oppression and tyranny, which had peaked at that time.
It was noted that Imam Zaid was a scholar, a brave warrior, and a courageous leader who rose against the Umayyad regime at the height of its brutality. The speeches pointed out that Imam Zaid followed the Quranic approach, striving to awaken the nation to confront the bloodthirsty Umayyad rule. They also highlighted that the free people of Yemen and its revolutionary leadership today continue to confront modern tyrants—America and Israel—in solidarity with the oppressed in Gaza, following the path of Imam Zaid and his grandfather Imam Hussein.
Event in Mashannah District
A similar speech and cultural event was held in Mashannah District to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Zaid bin Ali (peace be upon him), the ally of the Quran.
Attended by Deputy Governor Harith Al-Maliki, District Director Brigadier General Abdullah Al-Waeli, and Guidance Sector official Ahmed Al-Muhajir, the speeches elaborated on the significance of Imam Zaid’s revolution as an extension of Imam Hussein’s uprising and a spark for subsequent revolutions.
The event reviewed Imam Zaid’s biography and his valuable works, which remain a guiding path for many in the nation. The speeches stressed that his revolution continues against tyrants and oppressors in every era, including today’s struggle against America and Israel under the leadership of Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badreddin Al-Houthi.
Event in Al-Sadda District
The local authority and the General Mobilization in Al-Sadda District organized a speech event to commemorate Imam Zaid’s martyrdom under the slogan "Insight and Jihad."
District Director Muhammad Al-Darwani attended the event, where mobilization official Adel Al-Bahm highlighted Imam Zaid’s virtues, bravery, knowledge, piety, and enduring legacy that continues to inspire generations.
The speeches touched on his noble stances as a model of jihad in the path of God, defending truth , the oppressed, and confronting the enemies of faith. They also underscored his sacrifices and conscious revolution against the tyrants of his time, who wrongly assumed his martyrdom marked the end of his movement.
The event emphasized that Imam Zaid represents a school of thought for cultural activism and correcting misconceptions promoted by enemies, stressing the importance of drawing lessons from his life and struggle.
