The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) affirmed that the horrific massacre committed by the Israeli occupation army in Gaza on Sunday — which killed more than 70 and wounded dozens of unarmed civilians waiting for humanitarian aid — is further proof of the Zionist enemy’s inherently criminal nature.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), the DFLP strongly condemned the massacre, which targeted civilians in the Al-Sudaniya area northwest of Gaza and near the so-called “U.S. aid centers” south of Khan Younis — which it described as having turned into “death traps.”
The Front described the massacre as a blatant violation of all international and humanitarian laws, underscoring the Israeli policy of extermination and starvation against the Palestinian people, and the transformation of aid into tools for mass killing.
“This massacre comes amid a suffocating Israeli siege on Gaza for over 140 days,” the DFLP noted, “which has resulted in over 1,000 martyrs, nearly 6,000 injured, and around 70 missing, in the face of severe obstacles to delivering humanitarian aid and rescuing civilians.”
The DFLP held the Israeli occupation fully responsible for this atrocity and declared the U.S. administration a direct partner in the crime due to its unconditional support for Israel and its management of aid mechanisms that have become a threat to civilians.
The Front also blamed the international community and the European Union for their complicity and inaction, calling for immediate and effective action to break the siege, protect civilians, and prosecute war criminals.
Finally, the DFLP urged international organizations — particularly UNRWA — to take full responsibility for directly distributing humanitarian aid, ensuring it reaches those in need safely, without exploitation or threat.
