The General Commissioner of the Higher Committee for Tribal Affairs in Gaza, Akef Al-Masri, accused the World Food Programme (WFP) on Sunday of colluding with the Zionist enemy, stating that the program’s suspension of aid distribution makes it complicit in the crime of famine.
According to Palestine Today Agency, Al-Masri said that the WFP rejected all efforts and initiatives proposed to secure aid, using looting as a pretext to halt its distribution.
He added that the program’s media statements blamed the Palestinian people for the chaos while remaining silent on the occupation’s primary responsibility for the starvation, describing this stance as a double standard that absolves the oppressor and blames the victim.
Al-Masri stated that the WFP’s aid distribution methods led to the martyrdom of many Palestinians, placing the organization alongside U.S.-Israeli companies.
He emphasized that hollow European promises and the WFP’s performance make international, UN, and European institutions key partners in starving the Palestinian people.
