Hebron - Saba:
Israeli settlers sprayed toxic substances on Palestinian trees in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, early Sunday.
Osama Makhamrah, an activist against settlement expansion in Masafer Yatta, told Sanad News Agency that settlers applied poisonous substances to olive saplings in Khirbet Umm Al-Khair in an attempt to destroy them.
Villages and communities in Masafer Yatta are subjected to daily settler attacks targeting residents, their livestock, and crops, with the aim of forcibly displacing them from their homes.
The Palestinian Information Center "Ma’ta" recorded 6,351 violations committed by the Israeli army and settlers in the West Bank and Jerusalem during the month of June alone.
Ma’ta documented 163 settlement activities, including land confiscation, bulldozing, construction of new settler roads, and approval of additional settlement units.
Meanwhile, settlers carried out 315 attacks against Palestinian citizens and their property.
