South Korean media reported on Sunday that the death toll from heavy rains in South Korea has risen to 14, with 12 others reported missing.
The media stated that "heavy rains caused the deaths of 3 people and the disappearance of 3 others in Gyeongsang Province," bringing the total number of deaths to 14.
It added that "according to regions, one death was recorded in Osan City, Gyeonggi Province, and one in Dangjin City, South Chungcheong Province, while two deaths occurred in Seosan City, South Chungcheong Province, and six in Sancheong Town, South Gyeongsang Province."
The reports also stated that heavy rains led to the evacuation of a total of 12,921 people from 14 metropolitan cities and provinces, covering 86 cities and towns.
