Sana'a - Saba:
The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning expects continued scattered thunderstorms across the governorates, and seas will be rough due to strong winds over the next 24 hours.

According to the center's weather bulletin, thunderstorms of varying intensity, possibly accompanied by hail, are expected in parts of the governorates of Saada, Amran, Dhamar, Ibb, and Taiz.

Scattered rains, sometimes accompanied by thunder, are also expected in parts of the governorates of Hajjah, Mahwit, Raymah, Dhale'a, the highlands of Hadhramaut, Shabwah, Lahj, western Sana'a, the Socotra Archipelago, and parts of the eastern coast.

Winds are likely to be strong to very strong around the Socotra Archipelago, the Gulf of Aden, and the eastern and southern coasts.

The amount of rainfall measured at meteorological stations in Mahwit over the past 24 hours was 2.2 mm, and Hajjah 1.6 mm.

Moderate to heavy rainfall fell on parts of the governorates of Hadhramaut, Shabwah, Abyan, Lahj, Dhale'a, Taiz, Ibb, and Amran, but was outside the stations' coverage.

The center warned citizens against staying in or crossing flood channels and land bridges during and after rainfall, urging them to take shelter from thunderstorms.

It also warned seafarers, fishermen, and ship captains of rough seas and high waves around the Socotra Archipelago, in the Gulf of Aden, and along the southern and eastern coasts.
