Tehran – Saba:
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian affirmed on Saturday that while Iran remains committed to international law, it will not accept the use of force or the denial of the Iranian people's legitimate rights.
Speaking in a phone call with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Pezeshkian stated that Iran has no concerns about inspections, given its confidence in the transparency of its peaceful nuclear activities, according to Iran’s official news agency.
He criticized the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) for its failure to address Israeli-American acts of aggression against Iran’s nuclear facilities, which has angered the Iranian people. He stressed that, at a minimum, the IAEA should have condemned the attacks under international law.
Pezeshkian also condemned the selective application of international agreements by countries claiming to uphold them, and criticized Western double standards on human rights—particularly their silence on the Israeli atrocities in Gaza, including the killing and starvation of civilians in violation of all ethical and humanitarian norms.
