The funeral of Zaid Mohammed Abu Ali, Member of Parliament, was held today in Al-Tawilah District, Al-Mahwit Governorate, following his passing after a life marked by national service and dedication.
Leading the funeral procession were Sultan Al-Samai, member of the Supreme Political Council; Ali bin Ali Al-Qaisi and Ahmed Ali Mohsen, advisers to the council; along with several members of parliament, the Shura Council, ministers, governors, military and security leaders, and prominent social figures.
Mourners emphasized that with Abu Ali’s passing, Yemen has lost a loyal national figure and a parliamentary and community leader who tirelessly served the country and defended its interests.
They praised his efforts in resolving public grievances, promoting reconciliation, and supporting charitable initiatives, as well as his honorable national stance throughout his career.
Condolences were extended to his brother, Sheikh Mohammed Abu Ali, and to his children. Prayers were offered asking God to grant him mercy and eternal peace.
Following prayers at Al-Shaab Mosque in the capital Sana’a, the late MP’s body was laid to rest in his hometown in Al-Tawilah District.
