Secretary-General of the Ibb Local Authority Amin al-Warafi met Saturday with the committee assigned by the Ministry of Finance to discuss the mechanism for conducting financial and technical reviews of the implementation level of local authority projects, including development, service, and agricultural projects executed through the local authority and the Agricultural and Fisheries Funding Unit in the governorate.
The meeting, which included Province Undersecretary Abdulwahid al-Marwani and Mohammed al-Shabibi, members of the Finance Ministry committee, and directors of executive offices, explored ways to ensure the committee's success in carrying out its financial and technical auditing duties for all projects in the governorate.
Al-Warafi emphasized the importance of the review and evaluation process in promoting transparency and accountability, which in turn helps improve the quality of services provided to citizens.
He stressed the need for joint efforts to achieve the goals of the financial and technical review of all projects in the governorate, contributing to sustainable development and fulfilling citizens' aspirations for improved project implementation.
