Prime Minister Ahmed al-Rahawi met on Saturday with Minister of Oil and Minerals Dr. Abdullah al-Amir to review the Ministry’s ongoing activities and efforts to ensure the stability of fuel and domestic gas supply.
The meeting discussed the Ministry’s operational plan for the Hijri year 1447, as well as key development projects and programs scheduled for implementation this year, with a particular focus on addressing the repercussions of the Zionist aggression on the Ministry's facilities in Hodeida governorate .
The Prime Minister commended the efforts exerted by the Ministry and its affiliated units over the past year to maintain stable supplies of petroleum products and domestic gas, despite the direct targeting and destruction of its facilities in Hodeida.
He urged the Ministry and its institutions to maintain a state of constant preparedness in light of the ongoing confrontation with the Israeli enemy, in order to ensure the continuity and stability of vital services.
