The police chief of Lorestan Province in western Iran, Brigadier General Yahya Elahi, announced the arrest of 87 individuals allegedly linked to the Zionist entity. The suspects have been handed over to judicial authorities.
According to Iran’s official news agency IRNA, Brig. Gen. Elahi stated on Friday that: "During the imposed war by the Zionist entity, Lorestan police—thanks to intelligence data, effective cooperation, and public support—arrested 87 individuals in the province on charges including disturbing public opinion, sabotage, communication with foreign intelligence agencies, and possession of explosives."
He added: "During the imposed war by the Zionist regime, we witnessed a significant increase in public trust toward the police forces. Over a span of 15 days, more than 16,000 public reports were submitted to the police, reflecting the deep confidence citizens have in law enforcement."
