German Chancellor Friedrich Merz affirmed that what's happening in the Gaza Strip is "no longer acceptable," reiterating his call for a ceasefire in the territory.

During a press conference in Berlin, Merz called on Israel to allow urgent humanitarian aid to reach the Palestinians, amid European diplomatic efforts to contain the crisis.
