The Gaza Medical Relief Society announced that the Gaza Strip is experiencing widespread famine due to the ban on food entry, noting that malnutrition cases have increased by more than 20% compared to last month.

The society explained in press statements that the health sector needs 10,000 units of blood per month, but is only able to provide 2,000 units, deepening the medical care crisis in hospitals.
