The women’s sector in Marawiah District, Hodeida province, organized a massive rally on Friday in solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza and in condemnation of the ongoing crimes of the Zionist enemy against civilians, including starvation and genocide, under the slogan "With Gaza... Confronting Genocide and Starvation Crimes ."
Participants raised banners and chanted slogans denouncing the genocidal crimes committed against the Palestinian people amid shameful international silence and blatant Arab inaction. They emphasized that these brutal practices will not undermine the right of oppressed peoples to freedom and resistance.
The rally was part of the continuous popular mobilization witnessed across Hodeida’s districts, reflecting the unified and steadfast stance of the Yemeni people in supporting the Palestinian cause and defending the oppressed in Gaza.
Speeches delivered during the rally affirmed that Yemeni women have always been and will remain at the forefront of struggle and resistance, playing a key role in raising awareness, nurturing generations, and amplifying the voice of freedom against tyranny and arrogance.
They pointed out that the Zionist enemy is not content with military aggression but continues its psychological, media, and economic war against the Palestinian people, backed by Western-American support and the complicity of Arab regimes that have abandoned their positions and remained silent in the face of these crimes.
Participants stressed that the voice of Yemeni women will remain loud against the occupation, and this rally reaffirms that women are not absent from the nation’s issues but are deeply present in its conscience , active in raising awareness and mobilizing popular support.
They condemned the international silence and Arab inaction in supporting Gaza as direct cover for aggression and a moral disgrace for organizations that claim to defend human rights while turning a blind eye to the genocide against Palestinians.
In a statement issued during the rally, the women of Marawiah called on the women of the nation to uphold their responsibilities in confronting liquidation and normalization schemes by strengthening societal awareness and promoting the economic boycott of the enemy and its tools.
The statement praised the resilience of Palestinian women in the face of the killing and destruction machine, affirming that Palestinian women have become a symbol of defiance and sacrifice, inspiring all free people around the world.
It emphasized that the crimes committed against the Palestinian people amount to documented genocide, carried out with American complicity , funding from normalization regimes, and reaffirmed that Yemeni women will remain at the forefront of cultural resistance and popular awareness in support of Palestine.
