Mahwit - Saba:
The Secretary-General of the Local Council in Al-Mahwit Province, Dr. Ali Al-Zaykam, and the province’s Deputy, Ahmed Al-Qatma, inspected on Saturday the activities of summer courses in Al-Mahwit city.
Accompanied by the Director of the Social Affairs Office, Abdulaziz Shamlan, and the Director of the branch of the Authority for the Preservation of Historic Cities, Hossam Ibrahim, they were briefed on student turnout levels , the implementation of educational plans and programs at the center.
Al-Zaykam and Al-Qatma emphasized the importance of summer courses in developing students' skills, particularly in memorizing and perfecting the recitation of the Holy Qur'an, as well as equipping them with cultural knowledge and sciences to help shield them from soft warfare.
They highlighted the significance of these activities in protecting students from all forms of cultural infiltration, stressing that the current phase requires a strong generation armed with sound knowledge and education.
They also urged parents to encourage their children to attend summer centers, as they serve as educational and faith-based hubs where students gain beneficial knowledge and skills.
