Sana'a - Saba:
National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning has forecasted relatively cold weather in the highlands over the next 24 hours, with light rain expected along the coastal areas.
The cold conditions are anticipated to affect the provinces of Sa'ada, Amran, Sana'a, Dhamar, Bayda, and the highlands of Ibb, Abyan, and Shabwa, particularly during the night and early morning. Mist and fog are also expected to form in various areas, including Mahweet, Hajjah, Raymah, and Ibb provinces.
Rainy cumulonimbus clouds may develop in the western and southwestern highlands in the afternoon. Coastal areas, especially the Socotra Archipelago and the southern and western coasts, will experience partly cloudy skies and light rainfall. Winds will be strong, with speeds of up to 30 knots in some regions, including the western coast and Bab al-Mandab.
In desert regions, clear but dusty weather is expected, with winds reaching up to 20 knots, potentially stirring up sand and dust.
The center has issued a warning about the cold weather in the highlands and advised vulnerable groups, including the elderly and those with respiratory conditions, to take precautions. Additionally, seafarers and fishermen in the western coast, Bab al-Mandab, and the western Gulf of Aden are cautioned about rough seas and high waves.
