An introductory workshop was held on Tuesday in Hodeida province to enhance the cultivation of basic crops and expand the agricultural area.
The workshop, organized by the General Authority for the Development of Tihama in collaboration with agricultural associations, aimed to raise awareness among farmers about the importance of expanding the cultivation of strategic crops, such as grains and legumes, to enhance food security.
Government officials emphasized the importance of optimizing agricultural resources and reducing reliance on imports.
The workshop focused on improving agricultural practices, collecting data on agricultural resources, and developing strategic plans to enhance food security in the province.
