Sana'a (Saba) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Jamal Amer met today with War Child Middle East Regional Director Flutra Gorona.
In the meeting, which was attended by the organization's country director in Yemen, Arif Jabbar Khan, Minister Amer listened to a brief report from War Child Middle East Regional Director on the organization's merger into the Alliance of War Child Federal Organizations present in 14 countries operating under one management organization.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates called on War Child to diversify its funding sources and to turn to individuals and charitable organizations in a way that contributes to preserving the independence of the organization's decision and not being subject to any political agendas imposed by some donor countries, especially the United States of America.
While Flutra Gorona explained that War Child specializes in providing aid to children in times of war.
