Occupied Quds - Saba:

Israeli media on Saturday evening aired footage of Zionist enemy soldiers burning military equipment while withdrawing from the Netzarim axis, which separates the northern Gaza Strip from its center and south.

The enemy media reported that the enemy army will begin the withdrawal process from the axis at six o'clock this morning, Sunday, in accordance with understandings stipulating that the withdrawal process will be completed on the 22nd day of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza between the Zionist entity and the Palestinian resistance factions.

The Zionist enemy army had established the Netzarim axis, extending from Kibbutz "Be'eri" in the Gaza envelope to the Mediterranean Sea, with a length of eight kilometers and a width of seven kilometers, with the aim of isolating the northern Gaza Strip from its center and south, and securing the movements of its forces between the military concentration areas.

The axis is known in Israel as the center of the military operations that followed the ground invasion of the Gaza Strip in October 2023, as it played a major role in dividing the Strip geographically and socially, which led to the isolation of thousands of families and the exacerbation of the humanitarian situation in the northern regions.

In a video clip broadcast by the Israeli Channel 12, an officer in the Zionist enemy army appeared instructing his forces to withdraw from the axis, indicating that the enemy army "will return soon."

Although no official statement was issued by the Zionist enemy army regarding the withdrawal, the dismantling of the Zionist military bases in the axis comes within the ceasefire understandings, after the implementation of the fifth batch of the agreement smoothly, according to Hebrew media sources.

The ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement in Gaza came into effect on January 19, and includes three stages, each lasting 42 days. In the first, negotiations are held to start a second and then a third stage, mediated by Qatar, Egypt and the United States.
