"We congratulate the steadfast people of Gaza and Palestine on this victory," the Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said on Monday regarding the ceasefire in Gaza. "They confronted Israel with strength and dignity and achieved this great achievement. This resistant people taught other nations how to stand up to terrorism."
Tasnim International News Agency reported that a meeting of the head and members of the Coordination Council for Islamic Media and the Organizing Committee for the 46th Anniversary of the Victory of the Islamic Revolution was held in the presence of President Masoud Pezeshkian.
In his speech during the meeting, the President said "Every moment in which a person stands up to injustice is a day of Allah."
"Since the victory of the Islamic Revolution until today, we have lost many martyrs and victims of terrorism, as the enemies have targeted our leaders and elites to prevent this revolution from continuing," he added.
Pezeshkian offered his condolences for the martyrdom of Hojatoleslam Razini and Moghiseh, two judges in the judiciary, noting that "the martyrdom of these dear ones is evidence that the Islamic Republic of Iran and its revolution are victims of terrorism."
"The massacres committed by the Zionist regime and its supporters in the small Gaza Strip, which targeted women and children, are a clear example of terrorism, while they accuse us of supporting terrorism."
"We salute the victory of the people of Gaza, and congratulate them on their steadfastness. They have shown the world how terrorism can be confronted with strength and dignity."
