Assistant Undersecretary of the Tax Authority for Financial and Administrative Affairs Fahd Dahmash and Director General of the Executive Unit for the Tax on Qat Sales Abdulrahman al-Kuhlani on Thursday reviewed the progress of the final work on the Tax Branch Building project for Qat and Real Estate Units.
Dahmash and al-Kuhlani, along with Directors of Equipment Khaled al-Saeedi, Financial Affairs Amer al-Hajj, and Qat Unit Branch in Hodeida Ali Sharaf al-Din, met with the consulting engineers.
Dahmash directed the engineers to quickly resolve all the thorny observations that were the reason for the delay in opening the project on time due to the expansion.
Dahmash and al-Kuhlani inspected the progress of work in Qat Sales Tax Collection Centers "al-Sham and Buihas", and the level of work performance and tax collection in the two centers.
Dahmash praised the efforts of the Executive Unit for Qat Tax especially with regard to completing the implementation of the institutional construction plan for model centers from the self-accounts allocated for this purpose.
In this regard, he stressed the Authority's keenness to complete the construction of collection centers instead of rented buildings.
Dahmash and the committee assigned by Acting Head of the Authority Wahid al-Kebsi, also inspected the alternative lands for building model centers in preparation for purchasing them and starting to build them according to the institutional construction plan whose structure was built by the Minister of Finance in the Government of Change and Construction, Abduljabbar Ahmed Mohammed.
During the visit, the site of the project to maintain and restore the Tax Office building was handed over to the project implementing agency to begin restoration work.
Dahmash stressed that the visit translates the general directives of the Government of Change and Construction program in implementing basic services and development projects in Hodeida province and working to develop local and joint tax revenues.
