The General Directorate of Initiatives and Local Authority, Balad Al-Rus District, Sana'a province, received on Thursday the project of paving the road of Shaaban area from the implementing party.
The project, which cost 27 million and 700 thousand riyals, including 7 million contributions from the people of the region , 20 million and 700 thousand riyals support from the local authority in the province through the General Directorate of Initiatives, included paving 969 square meters of Shaaban road, as well as 133 square meters of road retaining walls, in addition to protective shoulders and rainwater drainage channels.
The director of the initiatives, Engineer Mohammed Al-Nozari, explained that the project is the result of community efforts by the people of the region and the contribution of the local authority in the province.
He emphasized the keenness of the local authority's leadership in the province to implement service projects that serve the citizen and encourage the community to contribute to the implementation of community initiative projects that serve all members of society.
Al-Nozari called on the people of the province to interact with the community initiative projects included in the plan for the coming years, which is an imperative necessity to enhance aspects of development, especially in rural communities with rugged terrain.
