The Minister of Economy, Industry and Investment, Eng. Moeen Hashem Al-Mahagri, inaugurated today the rehabilitation of the production line for the production of antibiotic drugs at the factory of the Yemen Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company "YEDCO".
The Minister of Economy listened to an explanation from the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company, Dr. Mohamed Al-Tohamy, about the process of maintaining and rehabilitating the production line of antibiotics and starting the production process for 9 types of antibiotics.
Minister Al-Mahagri praised the efforts of the company's leadership and cadres in rehabilitating the production line and launching the production process, stressing the doubling of efforts and working at a high pace to implement plans to expand and increase the production process according to a chronic plan, and work to increase the company's market share and meet the needs of the local market of high-quality medicines.
He confirmed the restart of the anti-baby drink line next week, as well as the completion of the inauguration of a factory near the feeders within one month according to the program prepared to rehabilitate and improve the company's capabilities and return to its customers and markets.
The Minister of Economy, Industry, and Investment indicated the ministry's readiness to stand by the company in overcoming problems and obstacles and implementing development and modernization plans.
He pointed out the importance of the company contributing to the implementation of the strategy of localizing the pharmaceutical industry in Yemen and achieving pharmaceutical security within the framework of the plans and objectives of the Change and Construction Government Program in localizing industries and moving the wheel of the national economy.
