The Zionist enemy media admitted that more than 60 percent of the buildings in the settlement of “Metulla” were hit by Hezbollah rockets... Noting that for a year and two months, the “Metulla” was subjected to heavy rocket fire and anti-armor missiles on a daily basis.
It reported that Metulla has been turned into a closed military zone. She emphasized that she was hit hard by Hezbollah.
It noted that 450 homes in Metulla were severely damaged, more than 60 percent.
Commenting on the settlement's current situation, David Azoulay, head of the Metulla Council, said: “We are in a very complicated situation, we don't really know what is in Metulla because of the destruction.”
He added that in the “Har Tzvia” neighborhood opposite al-Adaysa and Kafr Kila, there are 100 houses, at least 75 percent of which were damaged. “Most of the injuries require demolition,” he said.
He pointed out that there are 20,000 damage claims in the north. He emphasized that the direct damage in the north is estimated at more than two billion shekels (more than 550 million dollars).
In addition to the above, he noted that the roads in Metulla were also damaged by the tanks' tracks.
