Busan - Saba: The head of negotiations to reach a global treaty against plastic pollution in Busan, South Korea, announced the failure to reach an agreement, and that the talks will resume at a later date.
According to Agence France-Presse, Ecuadorian Ambassador Luis Valas Valdivieso said at the opening of the last plenary session of the United Nations negotiations that "many critical issues still prevent us from reaching a general agreement."
