36 people were martyred and more than 50 others were wounded Wednesday, as a result of the aggression launched by the Zionist enemy on Palmyra in central Syria.
The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) quoted local sources as saying "At 03:13 this afternoon, the Zionist enemy launched an air aggression from the direction of al-Tanf area, targeting a number of buildings in the city of Palmyra in the Syrian desert.
The ministry indicated that significant material damage occurred to the targeted buildings and the surrounding area, as a result of the Zionist aggression.
A few days ago, a Syrian military source confirmed the death of 15 people and the injury of six others, including women and children, and the occurrence of significant material damage to private property and the targeted and neighboring buildings, as a result of the Zionist aggression on a number of residential buildings in al-Mazzeh neighborhood in Damascus and Qudsaya area in the Damascus countryside.
The Zionist enemy has recently intensified its attacks on Syria, most of which focused on the capital Damascus and its countryside and the city of Homs
