Ibb - Saba:
A community-initiated project to pave the main street in Al-Sada, Ibb province, was launched on Thursday.
The project, which is 140 meters long and 10 meters wide, includes paving and maintenance works worth 35 million riyals, funded by local residents and supported by the Central Emergency Intervention Unit.
During the inauguration, Directorate Director Mohammed Al-Darwani praised the role of the community in adopting such initiatives that contribute to supporting the state's efforts in implementing projects that meet the citizens' needs in terms of roads and facilitate transportation.
He pointed to the role of community initiatives in achieving development and supporting the efforts of the official side in implementing development projects to meet the citizens' needs.
The inauguration was attended by a number of local , executive leaders, social figures, and a number of members of community committees.
