Dhamar - Saba:
A cultural event was held on Monday in Dhamar province to commemorate the anniversary of the martyr and honor the families of martyrs from the branches of the General Corporation for Communications, the Executive Unit for Construction, and the Postal, Land, and State Real Estate Authorities.
The event, which recognized the sacrifices of the martyrs who gave their lives in defense of their country and religion, was attended by key officials, including Mahmoud al-Jabain, Dhamar undersecretary.
Al-Jabain highlighted the heroic role of the martyrs, who stood against injustice and oppression. He emphasized that the martyrs' sacrifices were pivotal in confronting the forces of tyranny, and that the Yemeni people’s love for martyrdom makes them undefeatable, even against the most powerful aggressors.
Al-Jabeen also reiterated Yemen’s unwavering support for Palestine, underscoring that the Yemeni people’s stance against Israel, the U.S., and their allies demonstrates their commitment to justice despite global indifference. He called on the people to honor the martyrs by caring for their families and preserving the victories they fought for.
Director of the Land Authority Branch Abdulghani al-Dailami also spoke at the event, stressing the importance of drawing lessons from the sacrifices of the martyrs. He praised the Yemeni people’s steadfastness in confronting global injustice and tyranny, with particular focus on Yemen’s support for Palestinian and Lebanese resistance movements.
Other speeches during the event, including remarks from Director of the Telecommunications Corporation Branch Fouad al-Qawas and Director of the Postal Authority Ahmed Abdulrazzaq emphasized the significance of Martyr's Day as a time to reflect on the martyrs' contributions to the nation’s liberation and their role in resisting foreign oppression.
In a poignant address on behalf of the martyrs' families, Ibrahim Luqman expressed the profound pride and honor their families feel in remembering their loved ones’ sacrifices. He reaffirmed that the legacy of the martyrs will continue to inspire future generations and remain a symbol of pride for the nation.
The event served as a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by the martyrs and the ongoing need to uphold their values in the struggle for justice and sovereignty.
