Sana'a - Saba:
The National Centre for Meteorology and Early Warning has predicted sporadic and varying rainfall in parts of several governorates, and relatively cold weather in seven governorates over the next 24 hours.

According to the weather bulletin issued by the centre, sporadic rains of varying intensity, sometimes accompanied by thunder, are likely in parts of Hajjah, Al Mahwit, Al Hudaydah, Rima, Ibb, Taiz, Socotra Archipelago and Tihama Plain.

Light to moderate rain is also expected to fall on parts of Shabwa, Al Dhalea, Abyan and Lahj highlands, and western Dhamar and Sana'a governorates.

The weather is expected to be relatively cold during the night and early morning in the governorates of Saada, Amran, Sana'a, Dhamar, Al-Bayda, Ibb and Al-Dhaleh highlands.

The centre reported that the amount of rain that fell during the past 24 hours and was measured at some meteorological stations was as follows: Ibb: 16.8 mm, Taiz: 5.6, Rima: 1.7, Hajjah: 0.2, Al-Dhalea: 0.1 mm.

Sporadic rain also fell outside the monitoring stations on parts of Shabwa, Lahj, Hudaydah, Mahwit and Tihama Plain governorates.

The centre warned citizens against being in the valleys and torrential streams during and after the rains, and the low horizontal visibility on roads and mountain slopes due to rain or fog.

The centre also warned the elderly, children and workers during the night and early morning hours in the mountainous heights of the relatively cold weather.
