The Israeli army on Thursday dawn raided the city and camps of Tulkarm north the West Bank, triggering clashes that saw explosions of devices.
Reinforced by military vehicles and bulldozers, enemy forces stormed the two IDP camps of Noor Shams and Tulkarm, local sources said.
The raids sparked fierce clashes with locals, the sources added, noting that resisters targeted the attackers with explosive devices.
The Zionist D-9 bulldozers swept away infrastructure in the vicinity of Noor Shams Camp, east Tulkarm City, leading the education ministry to pause study on Thursday in the city and its suburbs.
Quds Brigades-affiliated Tulkarm Battalion said its fighters engaged in confrontations with enemy forces storming Tulkarm, and "showered the military vehicles with bullets."
