SANA'A - SABA: The Ministry of Justice and Human Rights has strongly condemned the recent Zionist attacks on southern Lebanon, which resulted in numerous casualties and thousands of injuries among civilians.
In a statement issued to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Ministry denounced these attacks as blatant war crimes that violate international laws and norms.
The Ministry also criticized the ongoing Israeli assault on the Gaza Strip, now in its 348th consecutive day. Recent airstrikes on al-Bureij camp and other regions have resulted in over 200 fatalities, with many women and children among the wounded.
The Ministry described the attacks in Lebanon and Gaza as clear evidence of the enemy's shift towards indiscriminate violence against civilians, reflecting a state of defeat and desperation.
The statement noted that these actions have led to nearly 42,000 deaths and over 140,000 injuries and missing persons since October 7.
It emphasized that the destruction of essential infrastructure and health services, forced displacements, and the ongoing blockade demonstrate a deliberate policy to eradicate Palestinian civilians and displace those who survive.
The Ministry condemned the international community’s inaction and the complicity of the US and its allies, urging an end to normalization efforts and advocating for international legal action against the Israeli regime.
The Ministry called on global leaders to join the genocide case against Israel at the International Court of Justice and to increase pressure on Israel to halt its aggression, ensure accountability for crimes against humanity, and address the complicity of supporting nations.
