Tehran - Saba: IRGC Commander-in-Chief Maj. Gen. Hossein Salami stated that the successful deployment of the Chamran 1 satellite demonstrates Iran's resolve to confront international sanctions.
According to Tasnim International News Agency, Major General Salami expressed in a message his pride and pride in the outstanding and honorable success in launching the research satellite (Chamaran 1) and putting it in orbit of 550 km, thanks to the joint efforts of the Iranian Aerospace Electronic Industries Group in cooperation with the Air and Space Research Institute and knowledge-based companies.
He stressed that this achievement reflects the determination of Iran and Iranians to achieve progress in emerging and superior technology fields, in light of the challenges posed by global powers. This success has brought joy and happiness to comrades and colleagues in the IRGC, he said.
Maj. Gen. Salami described this achievement as one of the manifestations of the co-operation between the government and the IRGC, which contributed to the creation of an honorable national event.
He stressed that the sons and scholars of Iran did not neglect to face unjust international sanctions, but remained determined and steadfast in the field of jihad, seeking to achieve the glory of the people and the Islamic homeland and create great scenes for the progress of the country under the wise guidance of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
