LONDON - SABA: The policies of mass bombing and starvation, attributed to the Zionist and Saudi regimes, have resulted in the deaths of tens of thousands of children, along with innocent men and women in Yemen and Palestine. These regimes receive support from America and other Western nations, whose leaders have offered assurances to Tel Aviv and Riyadh, according to a report by the British newspaper "Middle East Monitor" on Thursday.
"The report criticized the covert support, which, despite being publicly denounced by US President Joe Biden, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron, and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, is well-concealed from the millions of their citizens protesting the genocide in Gaza and the suffering of innocent people in Yemen."
In what could be described as a bold move, Saudi Arabia is contending for a seat on the UN Human Rights Council. Surprisingly, it might just succeed due to the questionable integrity of the 'fickle five' and their inconsistent application of 'shared Western values'.
Saudi Arabia appears to be unaware of its shameful reputation abroad, as Saudi Arabia is under the control of its de facto ruler, murderous Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who the CIA concluded ordered the murder of dissident Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi in Istanbul on October 2, 2018.
"It is clear that Saudi Arabia is not an appropriate country to uphold human rights on the world stage and should not be elected to the UN Human Rights Council because of its appalling record of executions and human rights violations, and it is no different from the current Zionist criminality in the Gaza Strip," the report noted.
