SANA’A, Dec.06 (Saba)- The Special Adviser to the UN Secretary-General on Yemen, ‎Jamal Benomar ,has confirmed that Yemenis will be able to override any attempts aimed at intimidating and targeting them.

In a statement to Saba upon his arrival on Friday, Benomar said “I am sure that the Yemenis will work hand in hand for the success of the national dialogue and for the higher interests of the country. "

He pointed out that he would seek during this visit to work in cooperation with all parties in order to facilitate the discussions on the outstanding issues in the national dialogue in order to agree on a final document of the dialogue outputs, as they are most important priority for Yemenis, stressing in this regard that the Security Council is making effort to provide assistance to achieve this goal.

Benomar expressed regret and condolences to the families of the victims who died in the terrorist attack that targeted the hospital at the defense compound and also wished the injured a speedy recovery.
