Arrogance forces seek to continue aggression against Yemen, bring the country into "no peace and no war" state
[01/January/2023]

SANA'A December 31. 2022 (Saba) - The powers of global arrogance (America-Europe) and their junior ally "Israel" are seeking to continue the aggression against Yemen and support its alliance formed by the leadership of Saudi Arabia and the UAE against our country, the continuation of the siege on our people, the occupation of our lands, damage to our economy and our capabilities, and the entry of the country into a state of "no peace and no war" to spread chaos and stir up Unrest.

The Revolution Leader, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, repeatedly affirms that "the Americans and the Zionists and those with them seek to enslave people and adopt brutality and tyranny to humiliate and control them, and that the forces of arrogance seek to remove justice from life, prevent justice, empower the oppressors, and commit crimes against the oppressed."

In the context, the national negotiating delegation was keen not to miss any opportunity that could lead to peace, and accepted the first and second extensions in the hope that there would be a sense of responsibility or understanding by the aggression countries and their mercenaries towards the issues of the Yemeni people, but without touching any seriousness to address the humanitarian file as an urgent priority.

In this regard, the national delegation affirms the right of the Yemeni people to defend themselves and their rights and to confront aggression and siege, holding the aggression countries responsible for reaching a dead end in understandings due to their intransigence and disavowal regarding measures that have no goal other than to alleviate the human suffering of our Yemeni people.

Despite the truce declared months ago, the aggression coalition and its mercenaries are committing thousands of violations of the truce agreement, and the coalition is still expanding in Yemeni lands and building military bases in most of the southern provinces it occupies.
Since the beginning of the armistice on the second of last April, the aggression coalition has rejected all possible solutions, proposals, and legitimate demands of the Yemeni people, and to get out of Yemen face-to-face.

It calls on the Yemeni government in Sana'a to pay the salaries of retired civil and military employees "without discrimination" and calls for lifting the blockade on the Yemeni people and allowing the entry of oil derivatives and commercial ships for goods, medical and pharmaceutical supplies.
The aggression against Yemen has killed hundreds of thousands of people directly or as a result of its repercussions, according to the United Nations.

Since the second of April, the truce sponsored by the United Nations has allowed the fighting to stop and measures aimed at alleviating the difficult living conditions of the population, in the face of one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world.

The agreement included allowing commercial flights from Sana'a International Airport, which had been receiving only aid planes since 2016, which represented a rare glimmer of hope after a devastating war.
Moreover, the arrogance forces fuel and feed the war through arms deals to sell them to the aggression coalition in order to achieve billions of dollars in arms sales.

According to the British newspaper "Morning Star", the British government alone has sold no less than 23 billion pounds of weapons to Saudi Arabia since the aggression coalition launched its aggression against the country eight years ago, which claimed the lives of hundreds of thousands of people and caused one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world.
According to the Intisaf Organization for Women and Children's Rights, the number of child victims of the US-Saudi aggression has reached 8,116 dead and wounded in about eight years.
That came during a statistic issued by the organization on the occasion of World Children's Day, November 20, as the number of killed children reached 3,860, and 4,256 injured, as of November 19.
The statistics stated that the number of persons with disabilities increased from three million before the aggression to 4.5 million people now.
It indicates that about six thousand civilians have been disabled as a result of armed hostilities since the beginning of the aggression, including approximately five thousand and 559 children, and it is expected that the actual number will be much higher.

It also indicated that there are at least two million and 400 thousand children still out of school out of an estimated 10.6 million children of school age (from 6 to 17 years), while nearly three thousand schools are either destroyed or damaged.

The statistics also pointed out that the number of children who face a dropout from education may rise to nearly six million children, according to the statistics of the Education Ministry.

Intisaf also stated that four thousand children were victims of the remnants of the aggression, of whom 131 were killed during the six-month truce, including 25 killed.
