IBB December 04. 2022 (Saba) - A meeting was held on Sunday, chaired by the Coordinating Committee of the justice System in Ibb province, chaired by member of the Supreme Political Council - head of the system, Mohammed al-Houthi, discussed the progress of judicial and security work in the province.
The meeting, which included by Ibb governor Abdulwahed Salah, reviewed the difficulties facing the judicial and security agencies and the tasks required to be implemented to serve justice.
In the meeting, al-Houthi stressed the importance of the role of the coordination committee in the province and its efforts in dealing with many issues, urging coordination of efforts between the judicial authority and the security services to deal with pending cases.
He urged everyone to work according to the outputs and recommendations received during the meetin to ensure that the difficulties impeding performance so as to overcome them.
For his part, the Ibb governor indicated
that addressing societal issues and establishing security and public tranquility come in implementation of the directives of the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, and his interest in resolving problems that undermine security and stability in the province.
Salah emphasized supporting the efforts of the Justice Committee and strengthening its coordinating role between the judicial and security agencies, pointing to the need to work in a team to establish the values and principles of justice and bring them closer to citizens.
For his part, head of the Judicial Inspection Commission Judge Ahmed al-Shahari gave an explanation about the role of the Inspection Commission in following up the work of the courts and the work of periodic and sudden inspection of judges.
He explained that the number of cases before the courts in 2014 was about 35,000, while the number of cases presented during the current year amounted to more than 100,000.
Judge al-Shahari indicated that the prolongation of the conflict in some cases is due to several reasons, including litigants, some laws, and the lack of court infrastructure.
He stressed that the commission exclusively implemented and followed up the stalled cases and many of them were accomplished, indicating that the commission is ready to receive any complaints in the event of any violations from any judge.
The meeting approved that Zakat Authority put in place a plan and a mechanism for bearing blood money and fines in resolving cases before the justice system and the province as well as developing a mechanism to list all stalled cases in the courts and prosecutors of the province, schedule them and assist the judicial side in dealing with them.
