Parliament congratulates Independence Day, warns against signing any loans on behalf republic of Yemen
[29/November/2022]

SANA'A November 29.2022 (Saba) - The Speaker of the Parliament, Yahya Ali Al-Ra'i, the Presidency and the members of the Council, raised a congratulatory cable to the leader of the revolution sayyed. Abdulmalik Badruddin Al-Houthi, Chairman of the Supreme Political Council, His Excellency Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, and members of the Council on the occasion of 30 November's glorious Independence Day.

During the meeting held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of the President of the Council, they expressed their congratulations to the Yemeni people and the heroes of the armed forces and security stationed on the fronts on this occasion. Confirming that 30 November is a luminous sign and a starting point for liberation from the trusteeship and domination of the world's dominant forces and the departure of the last British soldier from the south of the country.

They noted that the observance of this occasion comes and the Yemeni people continue to struggle and stand steadfast in the face of the consequences of aggression and siege for almost eight years and repeling the new occupiers and invaders the tools of the new old colonialism.

The Council of Representatives reiterated its warning to the hotel Government not to sign the suspicious agreements and deals on behalf of the Republic of Yemen. The latest was the signing of two agreements with the International Monetary Fund worth $ 300 million and the second with the Arab Monetary Fund, worth $1 billion.

The members of the Council noted that the objective of these loans was to place additional burdens on the Yemeni people in the context of the economic war waged by the aggression coalition and its tools on the country, and to circumvent the continued looting of the Yemeni people's oil and gas wealth.

They confirmed that the mercenaries government not only plundered Yemen's sovereign wealth of oil, gas and maritime wealth, but also to drown out Yemeni people with absurd loans, considering those conventions null and void because they are not based on any constitutional or legal framework, holding the mercenaries government fully responsible for this.

They pointed out that the Yemeni people would not bear any consequences for those loans because their proceeds were tampered with in suspicious cashiers and movements of the mercenaries government, without the benefit of the Yemeni people in the payment of State employees' salaries or the improvement of basic services for citizens.

Members of the Council reiterated the warning to States and entities that identify with the aggression coalition and its mercenaries in signing such suspicious agreements and suspicious deals. Affirming Yemen's retention of its legal and constitutional right to prosecute those entities.

They explained that those agreements were contrary to the constitution and Yemeni laws in force, to be submitted to the House of Representatives and its constitutional headquarters, Sana'a, for discussion and ratification.
