MINSK November 27. 2022 (Saba) - Belarus has said that its Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei died suddenly on Saturday, the reason of his death has not been given.

According to the Russian media, the outgoing Foreign Minister of Belarus was scheduled to meet with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Monday.

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko expressed grief over the death of the Foreign Minister and expressed his condolences to his family.

On the other hand, Russia has described the sudden death of Vladimir Maki as a deep shock, saying that he always played an important role in strengthening the relations between Russia and Belarus.
