JERUSALEM, Sep. 27 (Saba)– Israeli police on the evening of Tuesday attacked a solidarity sit-in calling for the release of the bodies of Palestinians who were killed by Israeli forces.
According to Wafa agency, Israeli police reportedly deployed its troops throughout the town of Beit Ijza, northwest of occupied Jerusalem, and attacked residents' homes and participants of the sit-in with rubber-coated steel bullets, stun grenades, and tear gas canisters.
The participants of the sit-in responded by throwing rocks toward the Israeli police.
The sit-in demanded the Israeli authorities to hand over the bodies of Palestinians killed by Israeli forces.
