SANA'A, Aug.14 (Saba) - His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Head of the Supreme Political Council, met on Sunday in the capital, Sana'a, Minister of Transport Abdul Wahhab Al-Durra, President for Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority(CAMA), Muhammad Abdul Rahman, and (CAMA) chairman, Raed Jabal.

During the meeting, they discussed the activities of Transport Ministry and its affiliated institutions and bodies, the implementation of its plan for the year 1444, the performance and activities of the Aviation Authority.

President Al-Mashat was briefed on a report on the flights that were flown to Amman under the first and second armistice.

He stressed that the United Nations should commit to opening new destinations through Sana'a International Airport in accordance with the requirements of the armistice, in order to alleviate citizens' traveling suffering for treatment, expatriates, students and businessmen, in order to fully open Sana'a International Airport without any restrictions.

President Al-Mashat also stressed the need to pay attention to train and raise the level of efficiency of air navigation and meteorology workers, urging the provision of all necessary services and facilities for travelers to and from Sana'a Airport.

For his part, the Head of the Civil Aviation Authority confirmed that the airport operates in accordance with international standards and provides all necessary facilities for travelers.
