TEHRAN, Jun. 28 (Saba) - Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian confirmed his country's support for the continuation of the armistice in Yemen and the need to end the blockade imposed on the Yemeni people.

According to Abdollahian's statement at his meeting Monday night, Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi is currently visiting Tehran. According to the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).

Abdollahian said Iran believed that the way to solve the region's problems was from within the region itself.

The Islamic Republic wants only good for the region. Commending Iraq's efforts to strengthen the element of dialogue in the region, and valuing its constructive role in regional equations.

He also paid for Iraq's efforts to strengthen the element of dialogue and its constructive role in regional equations and dialogue between Iran and Saudi Arabia. Tehran wants nothing but good for the region and supports the reopening of the two countries' embassies in their capitals.

In turn, the Iraqi Prime Minister stressed Iran's place and role in developments in the region and its close relations with Iraq. He stressed that his country was serious about developing bilateral relations and would continue its credible role in the region.

Al-Kadhimi also stressed the need for comprehensive development of relations and addressing possible obstacles, and said that Iraq would continue its efforts to consolidate regional dialogue and cooperation.
