IBB, July 19 (Saba) - The Public Prosecution in Ibb province has released 28 poor prisoners.

 

The General Authority for Zakat paid the money the prisoners obligate to pay to be released which mounts to YR 117 million.

 

Head of the Appeal Prosecution in Ibb Judge Abdullah al-Sanea said the release process took place in accordance with the legal procedures of the courts.

 

He pointed out that the province's prosecution has previously released since the end of June more than 500 prisoners who have similar cases or have served their times.

 

He pointed to the directives of the Public Prosecutor and his support for looking into and following up on the prisoners' cases.
